16 Personalities Test

16 personalities test

Have you guys ever heard of the 16 personalities test? I took the test a couple months ago but decided to take it again because I forgot what the results were lol. The 16 personalities test is all about, you guessed it, finding out which personality type you have. It’s kind of creepy how accurate it is. I remember the first time I took it I was thoroughly surprised on how much they hit the nail on the head as far as my personality is concerned. This time was no different! You know how when you take other personality tests they give you a little paragraph about what your results are and it never goes into too much detail? Not with this test. When you get the results there are 8 pages of info about your personality type. It goes into detail about how your personality reacts in the workplace, in friendships, as a parent, etc. I thought it would be cool to share some of my results with you guys!

So I have the ISFJ personality, which is called “The Protector”. It brought out that people with this personality type possess the Feeling (F) trait and has excellent analytical skills. Although their Introverted (I), they have good people skills and good social relationships. Even though they are the Judging (J) type, they are often receptive to change and new ideas. Some strengths were that they are supportive, reliable and patient, imaginative and observant, loyal and hard-working. Some weaknesses were that they are shy, take things too personally, repress their feelings, and they overload themselves. As far as friendships, ones with this personality are shy and protective of themselves, but they need to be able to connect with others on a deeper emotional level. Most of their friends are made through comfortable and consistent contact. They also like to avoid conflict and miscommunication.

There was A LOT more information but I won’t bore you guys with all of the details. I was totally shocked when I read the results because it described me to a tee. I was talking to my mom the other day about how reserved I am and she was saying that I sit and observe people. I don’t put myself out there at first, but I analyze first. I’m definitely more of an introvert. I don’t necessarily have to go out all the time but I love just having my friends come over to hang out. We could just sit and watch TV and I’d be totally fine with that.

I’d like to think I’m a supportive, reliable, hard-working person which were some of the strengths that this personality type possess. The weaknesses were spot on. I take things WAY too personally. I’ve gotten better because it can drive a person crazy but that trait is definitely still there. Repressing my feelings has always been a part of me and I always have a ton of things on my plate. All of which people in my life have talked to me about lol.

I was most impressed about the information about friendships. I’m shy when it comes to developing relationships with new people. It seriously intimidates me. I’m breaking out in hives just thinking about it. I kid I kid but seriously it takes some serious effort for me to take the initiative to make the first move as far as developing a new relationship. As far as protecting myself, yea totally me. I think that’s why I hold my feelings back because I’m scared of getting hurt. I try not to wear my heart of my sleeve (unsuccessfully) so that others won’t see my true feelings. When I feel comfortable enough with a person I become an open book. I love talking about emotions and I hate small talk. Let’s get down to the deep stuff. I’m very loyal and will do almost, ALMOST, anything to preserve my friendships. Until someone proves their disloyalty to me, I’ll always be there for them.

I know this was a super long winded and quite possibly uninteresting post lol but I was really fascinated by the results, detail and accuracy of this test. It made me understand things about myself a little bit better. I need to send the results to all of my friends so they can understand me better too. Now I want you guys to take it!
